If you want to earn your GED diploma really fast, you should absolutely check out the new Fast Mode course developed by Onsego.
Fast Mode will help you earn your GED in a few weeks, not a few months!
Is Onsego Fast Mode right for you?
This is a very powerful course, so it’s imperative to determine whether you may benefit from it.
Onsego GED Prep offers two paths to prepare for the challenging GED test: the Pro Plan and the Regular Path.
Onsego’s new Fast Mode is part of the Pro Plan, and if you feel at some point that this option is too challenging, you can just return to the Regular Path on your account.
Who is Fast Mode for?
Onsego’s new Fast Mode program is the perfect solution if you want to pass the GED test super quickly.
Be aware, however, that the course is fast-paced and that you must feel comfortable with the learn-by-doing approach that characterizes this course.
If you prefer to learn at a slower pace, you may be better off with Onsego Regular Path GED Prep.
This approach is better for you if you prefer to learn the GED concepts first and move a bit more slowly. With the regular path, it’s more about building up your confidence than preparing for the GED test super fast.
With the Regular Path program, Onsego’s instructors join later to assess your GED readiness and help you close knowledge gaps.
How Fast Mode Works

Rather than following a more traditional school-style method, Onsego Fast Mode will get you ready for the GED test through “Learning by Doing” and using common-sense reasoning.
Instead of simply memorizing the study material, Fast Mode emphasizes learning through reasoning and practice.
The program guides you through GED-style practice tests and questions, including short, clear Video Explainers that will help you retain the topics more effectively.
Consequently, you will be well prepared for the GED exam much faster than if you were to attend a traditional in-class setting.
The GED exam consists of four modular, independent subtests, and you should always take your strongest subject first. Early success will boost your confidence, which is the key to your success
Onsego Fast Mode covers every topic found on the four GED subtests, and each subject area has 15-20 short video lessons, followed by short quizzes to assess your understanding of the topics.
Fast Mode video lessons are fast-paced, visual, and engaging, covering one GED topic at a time without boring, long lectures that risk losing attention.
The GED Math Test
Math is a very important GED subject. It is considered the most difficult by many GED applicants.
So, with Onsego Fast Mode, practically every GED math topic is taught using the only calculator allowed on the GED test, the TI-30 XS.
Fast Mode uses the same calculator as on the GED test, and you’ll learn how to solve just about every GED math problem using this great tool.
If you learn how to work with this calculator fast and efficiently, the TI-30 XS will solve practically all math problems for you. That’s how you will pass math!
The TI-30 XS is the only calculator that you can use on the GED test. No more performing complex calculations or memorizing formulas. Your calculator does all the heavy lifting.
When you have completed the essential GED lessons, you will move ahead to practice questions that include Video Explainers to help you eliminate wrong answers, spot patterns, and combine skills. As said earlier, you will learn by doing and practicing, not by memorizing.
Video Explainers
Many students are not aware that on the GED test, multiple topics are often combined into one question. To come up with the correct answer, you should use logical reasoning instead of remembering and applying a single rule.
And that’s exactly why learning for your GED with Onsego Video Explainers is different from learning with regular practice tests.
Rather than getting a written explanation after a question, you will see a short Video Explainer built into the question.
Onsego’s Video Explainers quickly remind you of the basic idea and teach highly effective test-taking strategies, such as the Eliminate Wrong Answers strategy and the Divide and Conquer method.
This way, students will develop a reliable method for solving GED problems rather than simply working through practice problems.
Build Your Skills Practice Tests
When you have completed the practice questions with the embedded Video Explainers, you will take a few Build Your Skills practice tests to reinforce the things you have learned.
Then, you will take the Onsego Fast Mode Readiness Practice Test to assess if you are really ready to write the GED test.
Your instructor will review your results and tell you honestly whether you’re ready or should strengthen your knowledge first.
If you are ready, you can take the GED Ready test, the official practice test from GED Testing Service. In total, you take four GED Ready practice tests, one per GED subject test. They cost $7.99 each, but Onsego offers free vouchers for these GED Ready tests.
If you score 145 or higher on this practice test, you can schedule your real GED test for that subject, and an Onsego instructor will guide you through the process.
After you have passed your first subject test, you can move ahead to the next subject test. You can write the four GED subtests one at a time, if you wish, and in any order.
