Go To College with a GED

You can go to college with a GED diploma. Students who pass the GED receive the GED High School Equivalency Diploma issued by their States. This diploma is accepted by the majority of colleges and universities.

Sometimes, students need to take SAT or ACT exam before they can be admitted to the college of their choice. There is also a so-called GED with College Ready GED Online requires a green GED Ready score+credits. Students who score 175 points and above are eligible for up to 3 credits in Math, 3 credits in Science, 3 credits in Social Studies, and 1 credit in English.

It’s also worth noticing that from August 2020, the GED test can be taken online. This is an online-proctored GED test and it requires strong preparation because only students who scored into the green zone on the GED Ready test can sign up for the online testing.
