HHO generators are not a new concept, the basic technology of separating water from hydrogen have been around us for nearly a century, mainly starting out through Henry Garrett, the inventor of the famous water carburetor, which would run the engine using only tap water.
The water electrolysis theory was further developed by professor Yull Brown. This is where “Brown’s Gas” got its unscientific nickname. Now, let’s look at how we can get water fuel from HHO generators.
So you may be asking: “What is the easiest route?”
Water electrolysis power has been discovered since 1935 but was archived as “Top Secret” by those whose main capital interests involve petroleum, including worldwide politicians.
Even today, with so many different lobby groups, pressure from all angles of political debates and other green energy organizations, the profit stakes in the oil industry are so high that the easiest route is being discarded.
- Well for me, personally the best way I can think of is to use resources that are already at my disposal and modify or convert them to use a greener energy source. So to clarify, if I own a gasoline or diesel vehicle I would convert that engine to run on cleaner and preferably more efficient energy — if the expenses are worth the conversion when compared to buying new alternatives like hybrid cars, electric cars or solely hydrogen-powered vehicles. Mechanical engineers play, like almost in any field, an important role in designing and developing these systems.
- The next serious consideration after the price issue is how viable are these alternatives when compared to traditional gasoline/diesel engines. Will that energy/fuel source be available everywhere I normally travel and the economic factors of these fuels or energy sources. It’s pointless having a hydrogen car, for example, when the fuel stations are far and very limited currently. Electric cars will need a huge consideration and planning ahead to have the batteries charged for most long trips and not forgetting the charging time. It has to be taken into consideration when planning your charging schedules.
- Return on investment is another factor. If the initial purchase price is too expensive for me, when will I start seeing the savings from traditional fuel consumption?
The hidden truth on HHO Generators with “safe” hydrogen on demand
You might be asking why hasn’t this technology expanded enough and entered full production on all new manufacturer’s engines that are developed by all these new startup tech companies with all their bright mechanical engineers?
The truth is simple. They are still gaining time for more money to be sucked out from the petroleum’s mega-industry. They know that current technology in alternative fuels has improved significantly, but there are certainly major issues that concern the public.
The first issue is the price. They are still very expensive and the technology in most cases is not refined enough to substitute the traditional petroleum-based engines, especially in long distances. These may not be a technological or designer’s fault, as ultimately even traditional fuels need refueling frequently. It’s more of unethical political issues and NOT encouraging highly enough the alternative energy/fuel sector by getting many of these stations across the country.
Facts show that even with the least economic HHO generators, if we hypothetically assume that the gas-saving device is reducing a 10% in total fuel consumption, and say more than 50% of these vehicle owners purchase this gas-saving device or buy a new vehicle with this hydrogen hybrid system, the profit loss will be massive.
That being said, most HHO generators, including the DIY manuals can easily outperform that hypothetical 10%. These systems often see a 35%-55% in fuel reduction. Imagine if car manufacturers step in and start implementing this technology! They have enough capital and engineering resources to further improve those numbers before going into full large scale production. What will happen to the petroleum industry? I’m sure you can start to see the full picture by now.
Hydrogen on demand has been explored by a few people and there are different interpretations of how to implement the system. Some are even going under patents right now. The most common are the wet cells till now, which again has different designs according to the developers who have experimented and tested viable routes to gain more energy out of their design. There is also the dry cell which is becoming very successful in its own right and has its own advantages over wet cell technology. There are also some developers who use a mix or “hybrid” design of both wet and dry technology.
The best part is those good DIY manuals do exist, and the total costs are nearly always less than a total of $300 from start to finish – that is from buying the manuals, all the needed parts until it is up and running.
Here I am giving a higher budget of $300 as opposed to a less, but achievable budget of $150-$200 because I do stress on buying the best durable materials and parts. This way my HHO generator will be robust enough for the engine’s harsh environment and will be as much as “install and forget” as possible. I don’t mind doing the normal service overhauls on the generators, but I want it to be reliable enough (set and forget) between these service intervals.
There are the ready-made systems available which are what I refer to as a REAL kit. These consist of all the installation parts, including screws with a fully built and flow-tested generator. All that is required is the installation itself. These are a viable option for anyone who is either not technical enough or does not have the time to mo through the hassle of going through the manuals, buying all the parts from different retailers, building their own HHO system and installing it. We highly recommend the one which is a truly complete kit with everything you need for your installation and comes with a built and flow tested HHO generator.
The total cost does vary from kit to kit, but they are still an affordable option. These systems can be easily removed from the vehicle and installed onto another vehicle if that vehicle is going to be sold. There are no internal engine alterations on all the systems, so they are completely reversible.
So you now know that you do NOT need to break your bank balance to own a clean vehicle which pollutes water from its exhaust while saving you a significantly 20%-55% in your overall fuel consumption! Make the final leap and thank me later. There are various options for everyone to have their own and use water as supplemental fuel energy.
