Automotive Technician Program

In this 10-month program, you will receive hands-on training and become ready for a career in automotive at the entry-level. You will get the skills and knowledge required to be successful in the contemporary automotive world.

When you have completed this Automotive Technician program, you’ll be ready to enter the workforce. You’ll be awarded a diploma that qualifies you for a number of different careers, for example, as an auto technician in a car dealership, an independent shop, or at a parts specialist shop. You can also become a performance engine or suspension tuning specialist, work in the field of alternative fuels and solar, or work as a preventive maintenance technician.

Business Office Administration Program

This program is for people that aspire to work in office settings. If you like to help an office be run smoothly, the Business Office Administration program is right for you. You may also want to learn about PERT test scores. The PERT (Postsecondary Education Readiness Test) exam is Florida’s college0entrance test for colleges in the Florida Public College System.

During this 10-month program, you’ll learn what it means to work with QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, and Word. You will receive training in Marketing, Accounting, and Customer Service. The program includes a 200-hour externship at some local office and when you’ve completed the program, you qualify for various entry-level administrative positions.

Companies that employ administrative staff come in many numbers, sizes, and types. Your diploma qualifies you to become, for example, an administrative assistant, secretary, office assistant or manager, office coordinator, human resources assistant, customer service representative, or data entry operator.

Computer Network Technician Program

If you love to work with computers and when you’re interested in technology, this Computer & Network Technician program from Florida Career College may well be your ticket.

This 10-month program teaches you the knowledge and skills required to be successful at troubleshooting, analyzing, and repairing computer systems. The world of Tech is growing rapidly and your diploma allows for entry-level positions in this rapidly developing career field. You will learn hands-on about how contemporary computer systems work and how to efficiently perform maintenance and repair jobs.

Florida Career College’s Computer Network Technician program educates you in the techniques and tools used by computer-networking professionals in the contemporary high-tech world. Your diploma allows you to enter the world of maintaining, repairing, and/or designing network systems. You can enter the workforce, for example, as a computer support specialist or an electrical or electronics technician.

Cosmetology Diploma Progam

This program is geared towards people who like to experiment with the latest fashion makeup trends and/or new looks. The Cosmetology Specialist program from Florida Career College will allow you to get a rewarding career as a great professional Cosmetologist.

The program takes up to 12 months to complete and you’ll get hands-on training to acquire the skills needed to be successful in the world of beauty services including haircutting, hair coloring, facials, hair extensions, manicuring, and a lot more.

The program comes with 1,200 hours of hands-on training and includes a Florida Law Review Course as well. If you graduate from the program, you may also qualify to sit for the Florida Cosmetology Licensing Exam.

The diploma allows you to enter the Florida cosmetology world and beauty care industry in positions at the entry-level. You may become an esthetician, barber stylist, hairstylist or hairdresser, cosmetologist, nail technician, or makeup artist, just to mention some of your options.
