UAF’s MBA program offers two concentrations: General Management (completely online) and Capital Markets. The program offers students the chance to develop knowledge and skills they will need to become successful as business leaders. The school’s flexible online MBA program allows students to benefit from the school’s quality instruction without having to leave their jobs for a longer period of time and on a schedule that fits their personal and professional obligations and needs. The program doesn’t require a business undergraduate degree; seven online, self-study, pre-MBA courses may replace prerequisites for students who lack business experience. The UAF MBA is a 30-credit program that can be completed within a 2-year period of time and in-state tuition applies to all online courses.
The school offers the only AACSB (The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business)- accredited online MBA program in Alaska. AACSB accreditation is the “gold standard” for the accreditation of business school worldwide. Only five percent of the world’s business schools hold this standard and it relates to the quality of the program students can expect. All online courses are of the same quality as on-campus courses and the school’s top-notch faculty are famous for innovation, discovery, and service in the educational world.
